Hello everyone!  Glad to message y’all again.  So I went to the eye doctor in Houston on Thursday, and he said….”GIVE IT TIME” so before any surgery’s have to be done we have to give it time first, because it can just take some time to get better.  We are sooo happy he said that!!!! So I went with my mom and grandma, and we came back that day.  Friday was Chad’s arm DR appointment and every thing looks great, so they were goin to take the pins out of his arm…..they could not get it out:(  So the DR is going to try in 2 weeks:(  The DR’s nurse guy said it was the 1st time in 9 years that the pins couldn’t come out:(  So we just need some more time then his pins will come out easy:)  So after the DR appointment Chad’s team had practice because on Saturday they had a meet!  Chad’s kids did good at the meet on Saturday:)

Today we went to Lakewood church!!!!!!!!!!!  I met the preacher, Joel, in the hallway before church!  I had to go to the bathroom like 20 minutes before church, and that is when I saw the preacher walking in the hall!!!!!!!!!!  He told me HI!!!!!!!!!  So I met him:)

Also, some people might be confused about Chads and my marriage.  Well we are getting married March 13th before the benefit!!!  We are having our marriage at the church we go too and there won’t be alot of people there, just our parents. It is only going to be the preacher who marries us in a room where we are just with our parents, and just us. WE ARE HAVING OUR WEDDING WHICH WILL BE WHEN WE ARE PERFECTLY FINE AND EVERYONE WILL BE INVITED.  We feel blessed to get to have two wedding days!!!!  Thank you to every one that has helped us:)

Love ya,

Hey all,

Just wanted to give everyone an update on how things are going.  This past weekend Chelsea and I took our first road trip since the accident.  We went to San Antonio for  a Trampoline and Tumbling competition.  After the meet we went to the movie, Valentines Day!  It is REALLY good!  We finished up the weekend by going to Cornerstone Church on Sunday morning.  It was a GREAT weekend.  GOD is so faithful and we are SO THANKFUL for HIS AMAZING GRACE.

It has not even been 3 months yet and Chelsea is WAY farther along than some of the doctors in Odessa said that she would ever be.  AMAZING GRACE HOW SWEET THE SOUND!

My surgery went good, I suppose, although it was VERY PAINFUL.  Most of the pain from the arm is gone now.  I am just dealing with pain/discomfort from the splint they have on me.  I will have this one on at least a month, then the doc said he would downgrade  me, whatever that means.

The bnenfit is coming soon!  I will be speaking at around Noon on March 13th to give Chelsea and I’s amazing testimony.  We expect it to be very powerful so please pray that GOD will prepare me, as well as the hearts that need to be ministered to that day!

Thank you for all your prayers!! We love ya all!

P.S. – Chelsea and I have decided to go ahead and get married in order to HONOR GOD’S WAYS OF DOING THINGS.  We will do something really simple, probably in our pastors office, just so that we are married!  DONT WORRY there still will be a formal wedding in the future, whenever we are both restored completely.

Hey all,

Today, Thursday, January 28th, 2010 marks the 2 month anniversary that GOD saved Chelsea and I’s lives!!!  HE has poured out so much LOVE and MERCY since then on our behalf.  Thank you all for the continued prayers and support!!  Things are continuing to improve on a daily basis.  It will not be long at all that Chelsea will be updating this site herself!

Therapy is really going good, her workouts on Tuesday and Thursday are also going really good!   Her eye is getting better by the day but we still need some more time for it to be completly restored.  THANK YOU JESUS THAT THIS WILL HAPPEN!!!

Last night Chelsea cooked her first meal all by herself, Hamburger Helper, she said it was really easy!

Please pray for me on Monday, February 1st, 2010 as I will be traveling to Houston to undergo my third surgery on my arm.  Unfortunately they are having to re do the whole thing.  I will need a bone graft from my hip which will keep me in the hospital for a night.  Please pray for peace and strength for me to get through this next step in our journey.

Hey all,

As of today, Friday, January 15th, Chelsea has been home for 1 week.  Things have been going REALLY good and she is SO HAPPY to finally be home!  She is REALLY enjoying sleeping in her own bed with her cats, they are VERY happy too!

On Monday, Wednesday, and Friday she is doing out patient therapy at Warm Springs.  On Tuesday and Thursday I took her to the YMCA to workout.  She did not want to go but she went anyways and did REALLY good!  Tuesday we started pretty slow but picked it up quite a bit on Thursday!  We did 100 crunches, yes you read it right, 100!  3 sets of 10 leg lifts, and some back exercises to get started.  Then we went on to the elyptical machine and went for 10 minutes, she ended up going for 3/4 of a mile.  Then with 3 pound dumbbells she did 3 sets of 10 shoulder presses, 3 set of 20 bicep curls, and 3 sets on 10 tricep pull downs!  THIS IS SUPERNATURALLY AMAZING CONSIDERING A MONTH AGO SHE COULD NOT WALK!!!!!!!!!!!! PRAISE HIM!!!!

Her speech is getting better and it seems that ALL her memory has been restored! PRAISE GOD!!!  We still are working on the eye but it is getting better as well!  It is driving her CRAZY to only have one eye but it is slowly getting better!

I see a doctor on Monday in Corpus for my arm and that appt. should determine when I am to have another surgery, so please keep that in your prayers!

THANK YOU JESUS for what you are doing!  Thank you friends and family for ALL YOUR HELP AND SUPPORT!  We can SEE GOD through MANY OF YOU!

For those of you who do not know our wedding that was scheduled for March 13th has officially been postponed!  Although there will be a HUGE BENEFIT for us on that day in Victoria.  If you are interested in helping in ANY way let me know and I will get you contact information!
